Healeys Apple Week
Apple Week event in Cornwall
In celebration of the nation’s favourite fruit during harvest season, the farm hosts its annual Apple Week from 19th to 27th October during Half Term.
As one of Cornwall’s largest independent commercial orchards, Healeys supports National Apple Day to highlight the importance of orchards, fields and nature to humanity.
From learning about the care of 20 acres of orchards on a tractor ride or orchard walk, to entertainment with apple bobbing and pressing your own apples, it’s a fun day out for the whole family. Plus, there’s free entry and parking all day and dogs are welcome on a lead.
Cornish Apple Bobbing Championships
Returning for the second year with adult and children categories. Our popular bobbing battles will run throughout the day with contestants dunking and biting to bob the most amount of apples in one minute. Winners will be crowned king or queen of the orchards, winning a meal for two in The Old Bottlery Restaurant and a case of cyder or apple juice for the kids.
The activity is free of charge with a donation to Cornwall Community Foundation.
Press Your Own Apples
