We've been distilling spirits since 2000, starting with our Apple Brandy, then in 2003, we started distilling England's oldest Whiskey!
In February 2020, we went viral. Why? We introduced Rattler Cornish Gin to the world!
As many of you will already know, Rattler spirits aren't your run-of-the-mill tipple, made the Cornish way and with extra Healeys know-how, every single spirit is created, distilled, and blended from our famous cyder as its base, right here at the Farm!
Did you know every 70cl bottle of Rattler Gin is distilled from approximately 15 bottles of Rattler Cyder!
Like so many of our delicious award-winning drinks, most of our spirits start with the humble apple. So, it makes perfect sense that your guided tour will begin with a talk at our very famous (and often photographed) cyder vats which hold a combined 1.2 million litres of apple juice!
At the time of installation, our copper pot still was the smallest in operation in England at just 1,200 litres capacity and you’ll be given a fantastic insight into just how a copper pot still works and the process of how we craft various different spirits here at the farm.
Once a spirit has been expertly crafted, the next most important step for the likes of Brandy, Rum & Whiskey is maturation which takes place in our underground cellars.
You’ll learn how a cooper makes wooden barrels, the definition of angels’ share and more about the spirits resting quietly below ground!
This tour comes to an exciting finale in our secret cellar bar where you’ll not only learn about the “heads, hearts and tails” of a spirit, you’ll whiff botanicals we use to make Rattler Gin and then the best part… the tasting class!
You’ll be invited to a guided tasting of Rattler Gin, Healeys Limited Edition Rum plus a choice of Hicks & Healey Whiskey or Healeys Brandy.
This is a boozy tour containing spirits at 37.5% Vol or more, so please drink responsibly and never drink & drive.
Available from July 1 and September 3, this tour runs 7 days a week at 4:00pm.
From September 4 to October 29, this tour runs 7 days a week at 4:00pm only.
This tour is adult-only and is suitable for well-behaved dogs.
Maximum tour capacity is 10 adults.
Approximate duration is 50 minutes.
All prices are in addition to your Access All Areas + Tastings tickets or existing membership.

The Healeys Distillery Tour is an adult-only experience and can only be booked in addition to standard entry tickets.
Dogs are welcome on this tour.
