Rattler Cyder, Whiskey and Maple Syrup cocktail

Christmas is just one month away and the season for celebrating with friends, food and drink has arrived. Here at Healeys we have a great selection of juices, ciders, and spirits to compliment the festive season. Our ever popular Rattler Cyder is guaranteed to boost the festive spirit but there’s more to the cider than just enjoying it in a cool tall glass.

This typical Thanksgiving cocktail recipe is as much at home here in the U.K. as an autumn/winter warmer drink and reflects both the falling leaves in our orchards as we gather the apple crops and the glow that comes from enjoying our whiskey distilled here on the farm.

So enjoy the festive season with this Maple, whiskey and Rattler Cyder cocktail


  • 2 cups Rattler Cyder
  • 1/4 cup of whiskey
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (Or a strong flavoured honey)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


  • In a medium size saucepan over low heat, or in a slow cooker set to low, combine all ingredients and stir.
  • Ladle into cups and serve warm, not hot.
  • The recipe can easily be multiplied to serve a large crowd.
