Though many of the visitors to Healey’s Cyder Farm are couples without children, we also have a large number of families and little ones who visit. This is something that increases considerably throughout the summer months, and it isn’t hard to see why.
At Healey’s Cyder Farm we are dedicated to ensuring there is something for all ages and different types of visitors are catered for; this means we ensure adults have an enjoyable time and children are engaged and entertained throughout their time at the farm. Whether you’re heading to Healey’s Cyder Farm as a family and are worried that the children won’t enjoy it or you’ve got a stubborn seven year old who isn’t sure if it’s their sort of thing, let us reassure you. Here are some of the most popular child-friendly activities on offer.
Child-Friendly Activities At Healey’s Cyder Farm
We have a range of activities that are perfect for younger ones at the farm this summer. So, if you’re in the area and are looking for things to do in Cornwall, you’re in luck!
Make friends with some of the resident farm animals: There are a lot of different farm animals at the farm and children are free to pay them a visit. We have Shire horses, Shetland ponies, chickens, rabbits and ferrets as well as other farmyard favourites.
Take a ride on one of our tractors: Though tractor rides are enjoyable for all ages, children especially seem to appreciate the novelty of this unique mode of transport. Our tractor rides provide guests with the opportunity to see different parts of the farm, including the two large orchards.
Enjoy a delicious meal at the Healey’s restaurant: Our restaurant provides delicious meals and tasty snacks all year round, and it’s a great way to end a fun day out. The menu is vast and favourites include Cornish cream teas, 100% Cornish beef burgers and filling sandwiches. Healey’s restaurant caters to children and there are a number of items on the menu that children will love.
Of course, many children will also enjoy the other attractions the farm has to offer such as the guided tours, distillery and farm shop. Plus, with so much space and room to roam there’s no doubt that a visit to Healey’s Cyder Farm is ideal for getting rid of some of that never-ending energy.
