Easter – Things to do in Cornwall
Easter is nearly upon us and the weather is starting to show signs of improvement, dare we say that it is almost “shorts weather”. If you are anything like us, you will probably be looking for things to do over the Easter holidays to keep the kids entertained or just to enjoy those extra few days off work! Hurray for bank holidays! We’ve put together this list of the top five things to do in Cornwall over the Easter holidays
1. Go Surfing in Cornwall
Perhaps one of the best things to do in Cornwall over Easter is to get the surfboard out and head to Newquay beach to catch some waves. 2. Camel Creek Adventure Park

Camel Creek is one of the top days out in Cornwall for all the family. It is one of the top attraction is Cornwall for little kids and grown up kids alike. Over the Easter period Camel Creek have an offer whereby you can get 7 days of fun for the price of 1, with many Easter themed activities including an egg hunt and the chance to meet the Easter Bunny on Easter Sunday itself making this one of things to do in Cornwall for kids over the Easter period. If you are something a little more relaxed, then the Sennen Farmers Market is a great place to go in Cornwall for free. If you haven’t been to Sennen before then you are missing out on one of the most scenic places in Cornwall and is great come rain or shine. The farmers market will be indoors or outdoors depending on the weather making it a one of the best things to do in Cornwall when it’s raining.
3. Pirates Quest- Hunt for the Golden Egg
From 1st April
Pirates Quest, Newquay will reopen its door in time for the Easter Holidays and there will be a brand-new adventure and quest to find the golden egg. One of the greatest things to do with kids in Cornwall over Easter and also great fun for the adults too, this is one not to miss and not too expensive either at just £10.95 for adults and £7.95 for kids. There is limited availability for tickets so book fast via the Pirate Quest website.
4. Guided Walk on St George’s Island, Looe

This is one of the best places to see in Cornwall and the Cornwall Wildlife Trust have organised a guided walk on St George’s Island for the whole family to enjoy. This is a brilliant way to view the area and get to know more about the Island at the same time. The walk start with a boat crossing from Looe to the Nature Reserve. The walk will be great even if it’s raining, but let’s hope the weather stays great throughout.
5. Rockpool Explorer Event
9th – 12th April 2017 10.30 – 12.30
The rockpools at St Michael’s Mount, Marazion are a great place to take the kids over the Easter holidays to explore the creatures that live in the area and learn all about their lives.
