Half term at the farm

Looking for a great day out with the kids this May half term?

This half term you and the family can enjoy a day of apple-mazing adventures at Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm. Join in with Healeys Farm Trail running everyday throughout the holidays (prize included) and take part in Healeys colouring competition, situated in the Mowhay Tearoom, for a chance to win a bottle of juice of your choice!

See our PINK orchards in blossom on a Big Bertha tractor ride and take a guided tour around the farm. Enjoy a delectable Cornish cream tea or hearty homemade lunch in The Old Bottlery Restaurant. Adults can enjoy complimentary samples of ciders, wines, juices and jams whilst the kids will love to sample the range of apple juices and soft drinks in our farm shop.

Dogs are welcome to join the family fun on a lead.

There’s free parking and free entry into the farm and we are open from 9am.

Take a tour

Whilst the farm offers free entry, there’s so much more to see on a full guided tour*. From the history of cyder making and the Healeys story, to enjoying plenty of samples and venturing down to our Cornish orchards on a tractor ride*. Kids can take the apple trail on a full guided tour* hunting down the signs along the way.

All aboard the vintage tractor

Our apple orchards have turned PINK! Jump aboard ‘Bertha’ our vintage Mason Ford tractor and journey down to our apple orchards learning about cider making along the way and enjoy seeing the blossom in full bloom.

Sip the (many) samples

Within our farm shop you’ll discover our sampling counter full of the Healeys range. Our Cornish Cydermasters will take you through a tutored tasting of cyders, wine, juices and jams.  Kids are sure to love the taste of our freshly pressed Cornish apple juices and soft drinks.

Meet farm animals

Whilst all of our animals gather a lot of attention, it’s the cute pygmy goats which steal the show.  Watch them getting up to mischief whilst donkeys, horses, pigs, ferrets, rabbits and peacocks look on.

Afternoon Tea 

A visit to the farm would not be complete without enjoying a homemade cream tea.  All our scones and jams are made on the farm and paired with Trewithen Cornish clotted cream.  The whole family can enjoy tiers of treats from a Healeys Signature Afternoon Tea.
