What To Do If You’re Going On A Last Minute Holiday To Cornwall

We’re midway through the summer holidays and this is generally when the boredom sets in; you’ve run out of activities to do with the kids and you’ve sat through one too many picnic playdates. So, it comes as no surprise that a number of families decide to head off to Cornwall on a last minute holiday. Cornwall is great for a last minute holiday as it’s relatively easy to find somewhere great to stay and there are no flights or ferries to book. In fact, for most families it’s simply a case of loading up the car and heading off.

If you do decide to visit Cornwall this summer and don’t have a lot of time before you leave to plan some things to do, we can help. As locals we know the ins and outs of what to do in Cornwall for families of all ages. So, from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave you’ll be entertained, engaged and enjoying yourself.

Healey’s Cyder Farm This Summer

Cornwall has made a name for itself as one of the UK’s top holiday destinations and it’s easy to see why. With beautiful beaches, a tonne of activities and (usually!) pretty good weather it has become a hotspot for those with children.

We’re probably a little bit biased – though our visitors seem to agree – Healey’s Cyder Farm is a great choice for a family day out in Cornwall. We have a variety of farm yard animals, farm tours, Cornish cream tea, a farm shop, apple orchards and so much more. We’ve put a lot of time and energy into ensuring Healey’s Cyder Farm has something for all ages. So, whether you’re visiting with little ones or teenagers you’ll find yourself busy. Throughout August we’re open from 9am until 8pm, which gives you a full day to spend with us. Then in September, we’re open from 9am until 6pm.

Aside from the activities and things to do at Healey’s Cyder Farm, one of the best things is that it’s just so easy to get to. With a lot of brown tourist signs when you come off of the A3075, it isn’t difficult to find either.
