Transform your home grown fruit into apple juice and cyder with our free to use* apple mill and press at Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm during harvest season.
Our mill and press facilities offer those with an abundance of apples from their orchards or gardens the opportunity to press their own apples on a working Cornish cyder farm.
Transport home grown apples to the heart of the farm in the courtyard. Here, the easy-to-use equipment with information boards can be used to make up to 18 litres of juice in 30 minutes. Containers with cider-making kits are available to purchase from our farm shop to craft up to 30 pints of home brew.
Whether you are a novice or a fully fledged cidermaker, nothing beats the experience of pressing your own grown apples at Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm. Whilst you’re here you can find out more about what goes into making amazing cyders on a cyder-making tour and a tractor ride to see how our own 20 acres of beautiful orchards compare. Make the most of the free tutored tastings in our farm shop to help create your own perfect pints at home.
After all the pressing action, head upstairs to the Mowhay Tea Rooms for a famous Healeys homemade afternoon or cream tea or work up an appetite for lunch in The Old Bottlery Restaurant accompanied by a Healeys pint made here on the farm.
The equipment is only available to customers aged 16 or over *with a donation in the visitor centre to Healeys' chosen charity, Cornwall Community Foundation. Activity is available at select times of the year, primarily during apple harvest.
