The David & Kay Workshop & Cyder Museum

Your guided experience starts with a peek at cyder making through the ages.

Named after the founders, David & Kay Healey, here you’ll gain interesting insight into how our cyder was made at the farm back in the 1980’s plus you’ll be shown some of the original equipment that was used!

Cyder making has come a very long way in the last 40 years!

Kay’s Cyderhouse

Next, we'll show you how we make our cyder today with a visit and guided talk of our impressive cyder vats and brand-new apple pressing facility which opened in early 2023.

Here you'll discover more on how we press our apples, capture the delicious juice and the magic taking place in the famous cyder vats which hold a combined 1.2 million litres of apple juice!

Production Halls & Kegging Line

The grand finale of your Guided Cyder Experience concludes with a detailed tour of the Healeys production halls, where our famous Rattler Cyder is bottled, labelled, packaged, and kegged every day!

We regularly bottle approximately 6,000 bottles of cyder per hour, and you'll get a birds-eye view whilst your tour guide furnishes with you some "inside knowledge and secrets!".

Available daily at 10:30am, 11:30am, 2:30pm and 3:30pm.

This tour is family-friendly and is not suitable for dogs.

Maximum tour capacity is 20 people.

Approximate duration is 30 minutes.
