Team United We Conquer set off from Manhattan, New York earlier this month, aiming to complete one of the toughest endurance challenges in the world: rowing non-stop to Southampton, UK in a bid to beat the existing world record for the fastest Atlantic crossing.
Alongside the physical test, the team is raising £50,000 for Heads Up Charity, which supports the mental health and wellbeing of veterans and emergency service personnel.
Healeys is sponsoring the team by funding the boat’s rudder, a critical component for navigating the unpredictable and often dangerous Atlantic conditions.
In recognition, the distinctive Rattler logo appears on both the team’s vessel and kit, proudly carrying the Cornish brand thousands of miles across open water.
Joe Healey, Commercial Director at Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm, said:
“This challenge goes far beyond sport - it’s about shining a light on mental health, particularly for those who serve and protect others.
“We’re incredibly proud to support the team and Heads Up Charity. Their determination, grit and purpose embody the values we hold close at Healeys. We’ll be following every stroke of their journey,” he added.
