With a multi-faceted production facility specialising in a range of products from ciders, wines, preserves and spirits, and a visitor experience boasting more than 160,000 visitors per year, our business is thriving and has a very exciting future ahead.

We are recruiting a dynamic individual to join an established team as a Payroll/Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll information on a weekly basis as well as helping with various other areas of the Finance Dept.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Checking clocking times and importing them into Excel,
  • Compiling weekly payroll hours into as Excel report for directors.
  • Entering data into an Opera & Xero payroll system and reconciling hours paid with the spreadsheet.
  • Obtaining and applying HMRC tax code changes as needed.
  • Processing weekly payroll, including handling starters, leavers, pensions auto-enrolment, and deductions.
  • Other Support within the department on Sales & Purchase Ledger where necessary

Expereince and Skills for the role:

  • Experience of payroll for 100+ employees
  • Knowledge of Purchase and or Sales Ledger
  • Good Communication and customer service skills
  • Good Organisational skills
  • Accurate and able to work to a fast pace.
  • Proficiency in Excel
