Packaging Shift Deputy

We are currently looking for a Packaging Shift Deputy to join the Healeys Cru. You will play a key role in leading the current packaging shift. You will be responsible for ensuring that the production targets are met and liaising with the wider production team regarding potential issues and breakdowns as they occur. You will give your team the tools and guidance to be successful in their roles and you will lead by example in everything that you do.

Duties

· Put Health and Safety at the center of all decisions that you make. Be a role model for your team, demonstrating best practice at all times.

· Supporting the current packaging shift leader, working to ensure targets are met.

· Lead from the front, working on the line as needed while supporting with the management of the team on shift.

· Ensure compliance with Packaging process and procedures at all times to meet requirements of external accreditation.

· Being a key point of contact between the packaging teams and the production management team.

· Overseeing bottling and kegging line start up’s, close down’s & other tasks as directed by the Factory Manager.

· Work closely with the Quality team to ensure the product produced is of the best possible quality and adheres to all legal and Company specifications and to ensure compliance with procedures is met at all times.

· Being a contact for minor faults and breakdowns, escalating to the Engineer on shift as needed.

· Have a mindset of continuous improvement, looking for efficiencies and cost saving measures where possible and work with the wider production management team to implement these measures.

· To be open to completing tasks which may fall outside of your role or remit with a positive, sleeves rolled up mentality as and when requested by the Directors
