With an impressive schedule of events, alongside a multi-million-pound investment across a two-phase extension project, driving excellent customer experience on site has never been more important.

Come and join us this summer, and work with us to deliver a customer experience like no other! We are looking for a passionate and engaging Duty Manager who will join our team of hard-working individuals in the Visitor Experience team.

For the right candidates who show flair, passion, and dedication, this initial temporary role can lead to something more permanent – and ultimately a career at Healeys.

Hours: We are open 9am-8pm in the height of Summer, your hours will be flexible according to business need, ideally working up to 40 hours a week.

Pay: £10.50 per hour starting salary! You will also recieve a substantial bonus for working the busy summer months, if you complete your contract!

On a day-to-day basis our Duty Managers have responsibilities including:

Opening up and closing down the Visitor’s Centre, Shop, Brand Experience Room etc., in accordance with procedures and merchandising guidelines as required
Ensuring a smooth customer experience for each and every guest
Complete, action and rectify where required the Duty Manager check list in compliance with the company policies and procedures
Daily management of staff performance and hours
Ensure a clean and tidy site at all times, with specific reference to Health & Safety of all visitors and staff
Monitor and train new and existing staff within their roles
Ensure compliance with the law in relating to sales of alcoholic drinks
Stocktaking and ordering for the shop, ensuring comprehensive stock levels are maintained with good stock rotation
Attending trade shows/external events on behalf of Healeys, including set-up and close down if necessary
Dealing with all bookings and organising the requirements of each and ensuring clear communications with the Retail & Visitor Experience Manager and Catering Manager at all times
Ensure all Health and Safety and First Aid Procedures are followed according to the procedures set out by Healeys.
