In this role, you will represent the Company in a positive light, as well as repair, maintain and install wiring, motors, transformers, generators, lighting, and other electrical systems.

On a day-to-day basis, your success will look like:

Installing, maintaining, and enhancing electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring
Inspecting, testing, and diagnosing issues with electrical systems and components
Performing all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards
Testing electrical systems and components to ensure effective operations
Completing required documentation of repairs and service information
Ensuring adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts
Calibrating equipment to provided specifications
Performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
Troubleshooting problems and making timely repairs
Being open to completing tasks which fall outside of your role or remit with a positive, sleeves rolled up mentality

While personality and fit are important to us, preference will be given to applicants who can showcase the following qualifications and skills:

Completion of an electrician development programme, such as an apprenticeship
17th/18th edition electrical qualification
2391 Electrical Testing & Inspection
A relevant health and safety qualification
3-5 years of electrical experience
Valid driver's license
Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment
Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems

Hours: Contracted minimum 40 hours per week. You will work flexibly, 5 days, Monday to Sunday.

Salary: Up to £32,000 per year
