We are delighted to have been selected as finalists for the Carol Trewin South West Producer of the Year accolade at the Taste of the South West 2016 awards.
Taste of the South West has become the largest regional awards scheme in the UK and this year was a particularly special event with the awards celebrating its 25th year of honouring South West food and drink producers for their great products.
There were many qualities the judges were looking for from each of the entries, including innovation and business development, quality and efficiency of production, markets and marketing, distribution and corporate responsibility.
We are very proud that our business has grown over the years to become Cornwall’s longest-standing independent Cornish cider maker, with the largest commercial orchard in the county, and we are always looking to develop our product range, so we were delighted that was recognised by the awards committee.
One big change that has made a huge impact on the business is the investment in the new £3.7 million new visitor centre, production facility and café created in the last 18 months. These changes were all made with our customers in mind, and our aim to produce great quality drinks for people to enjoy.
A selection of our products were recognised in the Taste of the South West product awards including this year too including:
We are very grateful for the recognition from Taste of the West, and hope our customers feel the same. All of our great products are available online. https://healeyscyder.co.uk/shop/
