Production Engineer

Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm, we are experiencing phenomenal growth across our brands and are looking to recruit for a production engineer to join our production team. You will need to be dynamic, great problem solver, have excellent communication skills, self-confident, reliable and hard working.

You will ensure all production related infrastructure and facility equipment is maintained, repaired and serviced, minimizing downtime and allowing the facility to operate to the required standards, in order to meet the demands of the business. Liaising with national and international contractors and suppliers to ensure the facility is legally compliant and productive.

To be an integral member of the production team ensuring that the plan is delivered on a daily/weekly basis.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for :

Responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance and breakdown repair activities, in order to ensure that all equipment in the factory process, packing areas and site is operating to the required standards, in order to meet the demands of the business. Understanding times and targets for daily plan

Work experience:

General Mechanical/Fitter Maintenance Engineering Experience

Experience: Skills requirements

General engineering/electrical maintenance of equipment skills

Lead Production Engineer

At Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm, we are experiencing phenomenal growth across our brands and are looking to recruit for a Lead Production Engineer to join our production engineering team. You will need to be dynamic, a great problem solver, have excellent communication skills, self-confident, reliable and hard working.

Your Objectives:
Are to Maintain and minimize disruption to production and packaging activities through breakdowns. From Raw materials to finished product distribution all equipment, services and machinery. The Lead Production Engineer has the direct reports of the Engineering team as well as a close working relation-ship with the Packaging Manager and the packaging team of whom will be trained to perform basic tasks within the Production Environment.

Farm Hand & Site Assistant

Prime function is working to ensure animal welfare is a priority and the planned, preventative and emergency maintenance system for the farm & Estate properties, grounds, orchards and farm animals are being implemented effectively and timely ensuring requests for improvements are made

Marketing Manager

Want to work at the home of Rattler Cyder? We have an amazing opportunity at Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm, to become our Marketing Manager.

We are looking for an experienced marketeer with bottles full of enthusiasm and a likeminded ‘can do attitude’ to drive footfall and profitable spend across the business. You’ll be a core part of the business, responsible for leading all marketing plans for the farm attraction whilst supporting on brand development across our portfolio of products.

You will be responsible for managing the company’s marketing initiatives. Ensuring that customer needs are met whilst maximizing profits, across both our visitor Centre and all external sales channels.

The Role:

You will responsible for creating and managing Healeys’ marketing plan & budget whilst support in overseeing our current product range.

Working with the Design Manager, you’ll be integral on the creative development of promotional materials including, leaflets, product booklet, advertisements, website, social media and e-newsletters, ensuring brand guidelines and deadlines are met.  You’ll also communicate with various printers and other services/contractors to help marketing projects come to fruition & to budget.

Having a way with words, you’ll create engaging content for print and digital communication platforms and manage all of the company’s social media platforms. Create engaging content calendars, ensuring efficient scheduling and timely posts whilst responding to customer enquiries

You’ll have experience working with a PR agency to achieve frequent and timely media coverage across all channels, acting positivity to respond to customer feedback.

Our visitor database will be yours to own. You’ll also actively seek ways to grow this through feedback forms, competitions and partnerships and ensure the master list is regularly updated and manage and implement the monthly e-newsletter plan.

The Candidate:

We are looking for someone ideally with experience in a manager’s role,: organised, self motivated, creative and commercial, ready to take over the reins.  They will maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet the company’s mission statement.  In a diverse role, it’s important that this person has a an awareness and understanding of business priorities.

Retail Assistants

Healeys Cyder Farm is a growing family run business, built on passion and hard work. Healeys has been around for over 30 years and has developed a huge portfolio of drinks products including the famous Rattler Cornish Cloudy Cyder. There is more than meets the eye here at Healeys. From Guided Tours to Tractor Rides and of course Traditional Cream Teas in a lovely idyllic farm setting. We offer an excellent family day out.

With exceptional continued growth we are seeking a number of Retail Assistants to join our team of hardworking individuals who will provide an exceptional customer experience to our visitors throughout the season. For the right candidates, these initial temporary roles can lead to permanent roles – and ultimately a career within our company.

The Role:
The role as Retail Assistant at Healeys Cyder is varied. From leading tours around the farm to greeting customers in the Visitor Centre, no two days are the same. You will be expected to learn about our products to become one of our Cydermasters. Our Cydermasters pass on product knowledge and teach customers the Healey way to sample our finest Cyders, Wines, Juices & Spirits. You might even by driving Big Bertha, one of our historic ‘Fordson Major’ tractors around our orchards. But our absolute priority is of course the customers and making sure they have a great visitor experience.

The Candidate:
You will have excellent customer service skills, passionate about delivering our brand experience, hardworking and flexible. You will be friendly, approachable and personable, with an outwardly confident approach. You will need good literacy and numeracy skills.

Previous experience in a customer service role would be an advantage, but any applications will be welcomed by people with a positive attitude.

You will also need your own transportation to be able to get to the farm, as unfortunately we are not on any public transport routes. We also need flexibility so own transport is essential.

The hours of work will vary, working flexibly across 7 days a week. Hourly pay will be dependent on experience and discussed at interview.

Seasonal Catering Assistants

Healeys Cyder Farm is a growing family run business, built on passion and hard work (and home to our famous Rattler Cyder!). With exceptional continued growth we are seeking a number of Catering Assistants to join our team of hard working individuals who will provide an exceptional customer experience to our visitors throughout our busy season, working in our newly refurbished Cream Team Room and Restaurant. For the right candidates who show flare, passion and dedication, these initial temporary roles can lead to permanent roles – and ultimately a career within our company.

You will have excellent customer service skills, passionate about delivering our brand experience, hard working and flexible. You will be friendly, approachable and personable, with an outwardly confident approach. Some experience in a catering environment would be an advantage, but the willingness to deliver exceptional customer service is key and any applications will be welcomed from people with a positive attitude. You will need good literacy and numeracy skills.

The role may vary and you could be taking food orders in our Restaurant, to serving cream teas in our Cream Tea Room.

You will also need your own transportation to get here due to the flexibility of the role.

The hours of work will vary, but could be up to 40 hours a week, working flexibly across 7 days a week. Hourly pay will be dependant on experience and discussed at interview.

You will be need to be available to work until 31 October 2019(end of contract), although this may be extended if appropriate.
