Retail & Visitor Experience Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Retail & Visitor Manager to join our team working across our award-winning farm visitor attraction and retail sites in Cornwall. 

You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional visitor experience across the retail department and grow and develop a strong team that aligns with The Healey Way.

You’ll be responsible for meeting the forecast revenue targets across the business with specific reference to AWOP, Wage costs and Total Revenue within the Retail Department. You’ll meet customer feedback metrics across 3rd party/ customer reviews and exceed the employee training schedule alongside recruitment budget and recruitment timelines.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Over-all responsibility for all visitor related activities and experiences, including but not limited to on-site, The Redhouse shop in Perranporth, external events and online sales. Ensuring that the day to day operations of the retail site are run efficiently. To drive sales and maximise profits through detailed planning and analysis, whilst ensuring the visitor and brand experience generates excellent customer satisfaction in line with company values.

You will be responsible for running all on-site retail outlets where we sell product directly, sample or provide interaction with customers. You will take responsibility for business performance, understand financial implications, and use insights to support decisions.

Employ excellent communication skills and good sales technique. Lead the team from the front and by example. Establish & maintain high standards and operating procedures covering: 

Flexibility in duties may be needed to cover “off season” to ensure best business practice. This may include temporary work in other departments. Generate relevant marketing initiatives to drive business in off-season – all of which will be fully costed, complete with financial projections and full commercial review and recommendations. Implement ‘best in class’ tourism and retail practices to ensure Healeys Visitor Centre remains at the forefront of tourism and retail in Cornwall. Work with the Visitor Experience Management Team (VEM) to ensure a quality visitor experience is monitored and there is consistency across departments. Work with the VEM team to the successful delivery of both internal and external functions. Investigate opportunities for and implement strategies to enhance the visitor experience. Lead customer engagement through social media with the assistance of the Duty Managers

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 a year

Experience: Retail Management: 4 years (Required)

Education: Diploma of Higher Education (Preferred)

Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (Required)

 

Retail Duty Manager

Our Retail Duty Manager will lead and manage on a daily basis an exceptional visitor experience, achieving the highest standards of quality across the Visitor Centre, Shop, Redhouse, Restaurant, farm and tour offerings.

You will assist the Retail & Visitor Experience Manager and act as a key contributor to the on-site retail division, as an integral part of the management team to drive the efficiency and profitability.

Key Account Executive

If you are an energetic, enthusiastic and a customer focused individual who strives to deliver excellence, Healeys would love to hear from you. We are looking for a Key Account Executive on a fixed term contract mid-March to mid-September 2019, with the possibility of this becoming permanent. Rate up to £28,000 per annum (pro rata) with the right experience and proven track record

At Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm, we are experiencing phenomenal sales growth across our brands and are looking to recruit for an additional Key Account Executive to join our team. You will need to be dynamic, have excellent communication skills, self-confident, reliable and hard working.

The prime requisite of the role is to drive sales, ensure customer satisfaction and identify and exploit new markets, whilst working within the values of our business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Flexibility in duties many be needed to cover ‘’off season’’ to ensure best business practice. 

Hours: Full Time

Salary: Fixed term,  up to £28,000 (pro rata)

We are looking for  an enthusiastic and experienced Human Resources & Administration professional to join our team.

The successful applicant will have provided “People” and administrative support for a business in the private sector for a number of years and enjoy supporting Senior Managers in a busy and varied working environment. Production Operative

This is an opportunity to become part of the award winning team at Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm.Your role will be hands on in the production process from raw materials to finished products on our range of award winning products including ciders, wines, fruit juices, spirits and preserves. You will be responsible for making sure you follow all relevant procedures.

The Engineering Manager will be responsible to ensure the smooth running of machinery at all times, preventative maintenance of all machinery, servicing records and inspections database, machine integrity from a quality point of view

Main Duties:

Salary £35,000 to £45,000 PA dependent on experience
