Field Sales Executive - Off Trade (Southwest)

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our busy Sales team as Field Sales Executive - Off Trade (Southwest)
As Field Sales Executive -Off Trade, you will drive revenue & overall profit within a diverse account base through effective account management and excellent customer service.
A hands-on, field-based role requiring a close working relationship with current customers as well as the drive to generate & convert new business leads.
Your customer base will be diverse (perhaps a convenience store, a farm shop or a local wholesaler) but the key objective always remains the same, to drive profitable revenue growth by ensuring customers have all the tools & support they need to better serve their customers.
Salary: £26,000 plus potential 3k bonus, laptop, use of a company car during working hours.
Hours: 40 Hours per week
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand and meet core company goals/objectives.
- Achieve or exceed personal sales in line with pre-set Company requirements.
- Ensure market and product knowledge is accurate and up to date. Identify target markets and opportunities for new business.
- Build & maintain customer relationships through regular visits, well thought through joint business plans that include distinguished in-store merchandising plans.
- Generate/follow up on leads & convert these prospects into successful customers.
- Analyse trends and produce sales forecasts to management/close working teams. Collect feedback from customers and compile market research information.
- Maintain the Company’s customer database, monitor purchase variances and action accordingly.
- Identify, set up, organise and staff the company’s stand at local, regional and national trade shows.
- Any other activity/tasks as and when requested by the Directors.
Work Experience
- South-West based, ideally close to HQ but not a deal breaker.
- Previous experience within the Food & Drink sector would be beneficial.
- Previous experience within a sales role with be advantageous.
