A fantastic opportunity is available to join our busy office team, to become part of an iconic Cornish business, and to make your mark in this important role as our Office & Admin Assistant.

Here at Healeys, no two days are the same, and the ever-growing nature of the business means that there is always something new to sink your teeth into! You will be responsible for all incoming communication, administration and office management duties, which may include an array of disciplines such as; 

  • Overseeing all external communication, Including telephone, email and postal enquiries.
  • Supporting with internal communication such as employee letters, company-wide emails and newsletters
  • Flexibility in duties may be needed to cover “off-season” to ensure best business practice
  • Support the Sales team with taking, processing and invoicing orders, alongside general sales administration.
  • Overseeing general office maintenance and administration, such as filing, record keeping and maintenance of company files
  • Ordering and managing stock of office stationery, staff uniform and PPE
  • Overseeing the office social and events calendar
  • Office cleanliness, maintenance and repairs in conjunction with the Facilities team
  • Supporting with the general administration of Healeys property lets

Personal Qualities are important, and preference will be given to candidates with solid experience in the following:  

  • Expert at Microsoft Excel, Word and Office 365
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive team member with strong customer service and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to deal with potentially challenging customers and suppliers
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing
  • Attention to detail, ensuring a high standard of quality and accuracy in all tasks.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. 
  • Flexible and adaptable - an “all-rounder”

Hours: Your normal hours will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend work may be required depending on the needs of the business at the time.

Salary: £21,000 to £22,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
