Warehouse Stock Controller (POSITION CLOSED)

Prime function is to manage and control inventories, from raw materials to finished products on our range of award-winning products and merchandise.

Stock Control, responsible for:

• All raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and merchandise.
• Stock rotation and efficient material utilisation to achieve zero waste.
• Stock security, and security of warehouse facilities
• To help with and cover as required weekly, monthly and annual stock takes

Logistics, responsible for:

• The dispatch of all goods (internet sales, internal & external sales)
• The receipt of all goods & follow up paperwork involved
• Communicating with all departments as required to manage the goods in and out function.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles, such as trucks
• Checking loads are secure
• Controlling the warehouse and quality control.
• Deliver exceptional after-sales care.
• Maintaining a FIFO stock rotation system.
• Maintaining a clean & tidy working environment.
• Planning an efficient route for the day’s deliveries for all delivery drivers.
• Ensuring cash is kept secure at all times.
• Maintaining vehicle checks and vehicle care.
• The front face of the company, so appearance is the highest quality.

General, responsible for:

• Ensuring that all safety checks for related equipment, forklifts, and warehouses are satisfactorily completed, in the required timescale.
• Health & Safety compliance: Warehouse, loading zones, and delivery activities.
• Demonstrating a “hands-on” and “can-do” approach and leadership.
• Continuous Improvement and Efficiency activities related to stock management
• Must be prepared to work flexibly across all departments as required
• Ensure each pallet is secure for transit and labeled correctly
